Ok, I have the germ of an idea and need some help, help, help setting it up. Recently, I offered to write poems for my peeps. They asked me to do them a poem and I think, back me up here guys, I did a dern fine job of describing them. I know I don’t know most people as well as my peeps but I am willing to bet that if you tell me about them I can make a pretty good poem for them.
Ok, here is my idea. I want to give something back to the world that brought me so much peace and self-love. I want to set up a pay-pal account that charges people $2 a poem. For each poem I write that $2 will go to a charity, not sure what charity but I am set on it being a children’s charity. I want to be able to have the money from my pay-pal go directly to the charity somehow without ever even having to mess with it. I will want to place the thing up on my sidebar somehow, though I am uncertain how to go about it. Anyone with know-how, please, please, please show me what to do in terms I can understand (pretend I am stupid).
I am not pushing here, but I know I have a ton of poet friends who could add to my cause muchly, were they so inclined. I would be quite willing to beg. I would also be really excited if one of my crafty friends were interested in making something up to sell on their site using my poems as decoration. I would be willing to have them sell them if they promised to also donate a portion to charity. This is something that matters very much to me and I am wanting to call in some friendly markers..if I have any at all in the cosmos. Anyone? Anyone?

hi, does http://www.justgiving.com work in the US? or do you have something like it? that site will let people donate direct then they could forward you their receipt in order to get their poem from you.
an alternative would be to set up a charity account at your bank, get the money paid in there, and straight out to the charity.
just some thoughts!
