Poems

Let there be giggles

Swing into motion
this perpetual childishness
said in the nicest of smiles
with a subtle leaning in
because something in me is beguiled
by the silliness of your phrasing.

Swing into sighing
amusement is somewhat sacred
when you know the secrets
of simple blessings bursting forth
to change equations and futures.

Swing into dancing
these feet that cannot contain
the overflowed banks
of my exuberance emerging
ever so gleefully, into the lightness of being.
