59. What book has influenced you most?
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.
It was the first book I ever read that did more than just tell an entertaining story. Harper Lee made me think, to consider what I believe. To question what I would stand up for, and what I would seek to rise above. She made me feel like I could be strong. That there existed, within me, words and concepts I was not only encouraged to contemplate, but that good conscience demanded contemplating deeply and thoroughly. I never forgot the lesson in books that entertain and those that push your mind open. Both types of books are vital to growth as a human being.
