Speak your truth

“It’s time to find your voice and speak your mind because you have held your opinion and your feelings inside for too long.”

Come heart,

yell louder.

Tear up your throat and bloody your lips,

if you must,

but speak, at last, speak.

Speak boldly

and from the deepest part of your spine.

Speak with conviction,

no more dividing line.

Speak,

let who you are,

be, at last,

set free.

Masks have a way of slipping.

Choose instead

to no longer wear one.

“Courage is fear that has said its prayers.”
